Who is Bill Cantrell?
Bill Cantrell worked as an
Associate Producer for the Positive Thinking Rallies during the
1970's, producing large public events with Paul Harvey, Art
Linkletter, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Robert Schuller, Zig Ziglar,
Dennis Waitly, Earl Nightingale, and many other top national
personalities. He was an Advance Man for the American Sales
Training Association, and a Rally Producer for the Positive
Thinking Rallies for 4 years in the 1970's.
Since 1977, Bill Cantrell has
given over 4,000 professional presentations, the majority of which
were 1-day to 2-day training programs to corporations, civic
groups, churches, and organizations in direct sales. He holds a
degree in Sales from Memphis State University, and is an advanced
Psycholinguistics graduate from the McGrane Self-Esteem Institute
in the Greater Cincinnati area. Having been mentored by Bill

He is considered a graduate
scholar of the Institute, having presented in the 10 annual scholar
conferences of that organization to date. Bill is one of only
approximately 300 Certified Speaking Professionals (CSP) in the
world and has been a member of the National Speakers Association
since 1978. He is also one of only 8 Master Trainers, and
Business Council Alumni for Carlson Learning Company, a 10 billion
dollar privately owned conglomerate, and publisher of highly
respected instrumented training and consulting materials. In just
as long, Bill has done over 3,000 customized workshops for major
multinational direct sales organizations such as Mary Kay
Cosmetics™, in addition to working with General Motors™,
Mitsubishi™, AT&T™, and many other companies and
educational institutions.
Bill's primary focus in consulting
intervention has been process facilitation for discovery learning.
Utilizing his Socratic interviewing methodology to create personal
insights that lead to breakthroughs, Bill Cantrell and Cantrell
Training has participated in long-term consulting contracts for a
number of different companies, and has designed training programs
as a part of the consulting process to address a variety of
issues.
